Created and provided the students in the class the CAD model and FEM model using Patran/NASTRAN of an aircraft wing for the Aerospace Structures II course final project. Assisted teaching students how to use Patran/NASTRAN FEM software.

Supported undergraduate students taking Fundamental of Aerodynamics by providing office hours to answer questions related to the course, and grading assignments. Conducted and organized lab sessions, including setup of KU’s subsonic and supersonic wind tunnels.

Investigated physical phenomenon of flow through high-pressure turbines (HPT) by creating a high-order wallresolved large eddy simulation (LES) using the CFD software hpMusic and implementing Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD) and Dynamic Mode Decomposition (DMD)

Conducted experiments to collect electromagnetic data for usage in magnetic particle tracking research. Interpreted literature for magnetic particle tracking used for the design of a fluidized bed and designed experiment equipment using CAD software

Conducted research on guidance, navigation, and control of unmanned aerial systems (UASs) with Dr. Shawn Keshmiri and his PhD students. Built a MATLAB graphical user interface (GUI) to effectively analyze flight test data and perform dynamic analysis. Designed components for both fixed wing and vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) sUAS using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Manufactured components for sUAS using computer numerical control (CNC) machine, laser cutter, and machine shop tools. Collaborated with team members to conduct flight tests of several sUAS.

Conducted research to accomplish a grant from NASA Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) Program investigating power sources for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on Mars

Managed the grades of over 100 students’ homework and quizzes for Applied Differential Equations and Calculus Based Statistics. Developed and implemented grading criteria that adhered to the guidelines outlined by the professors. Addressed questions and relayed information between students and professors.

Resolved issues by providing support for residents, housing staff, and delivery services. Responded to emergencies by following KU Housing protocol. Enforced KU Housing policies in the work area.
