Scott Schueler is a sales executive, market analyst and seasonal industry expert with over 15 years of experience customizing and implementing profitable retail programs. In various sales roles, he has worked with a wide range of home décor brands, specialty retailers and grocery store chains, such as Menards, At Home, Academy Sports, Ace Hardware, and ALDI. Whether it’s with top-tier retailers or small mom-and-pop stores, Scott is able to rapidly cultivate win-win partnerships and leverage his strong industry network of retail buyers and planners. Scott is the VP of Sales at Polygroup, a global consumer goods leader with companies that design, manufacture and distribute seasonal home décor and outdoor recreation products that inspire people to play more and celebrate more. He started from the ground up more than a decade ago and learned all sides of sales, rapidly signing on a more diverse range of retailers and positioning the company for accelerated growth.Today, as part of the company’s North American sales team, Scott manages numerous National and Regional retail accounts: Menards, Meijer, ALDI and co-ops Ace Hardware and True Value, while building sales programs that cater to targeted customers. His responsibilities include growing and managing mid-tier level accounts as well as compiling and analyzing market data. A career highlight is when under his leadership, Polygroup was awarded ‘Best Value Vendor’ by the At Home big-box retail chain. Before joining Polygroup, Scott worked at Marshall Associates in diverse sales positions overseeing retail program accounts in the seasonal industry category and establishing strategic industry alliances. He learned how to analyze programs to find customer-target opportunities that maximized profits—and then used that insight to tailor-build sales solutions. Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, and a Master’s degree in Special Education and Teaching. He is an avid problem-solver not just at the office, but in his house, as he recently just built out the entire family basement. An active dad of two, he welcomes any creative challenge that can be conquered with just his hands.
