I am the Chief Operation Officer for Emergi-Clean, Inc and a DrPH Candidate at Rutgers University in Leadership, Practice, and Research. I focus on occupational and environmental health and safety within the CBRNE Response and Recovery industry, concentrating primarily on biohazard response and recovery. Most of my professional career, 20+ years, has been responding to biohazard and bioterrorism incidents handling the response and recovery activities onsite for private, commercial, and government clients. In 2015, I shifted my interest to research and policy building within the industry. I have been committed to creating guidance documents, training, and protocols for the biohazard, chemical, and infectious disease remediation fields since, although still responding to incidents, bridging that gap from research to fieldwork. In my 20+ years, I have obtained and held multiple accreditations and certifications within the emergency management, safety, and biohazard response industry. I have consulted on and overseen over 5000 + biohazard remediation projects throughout the US and have been designated a Certified Bio Recovery Master (CBRM) by the American Bio Recovery Association. I am an Instructor, Contributor, and Census Body member within the CBRNE industry and will continue to strive to make our industry safer for the responder and the general public.
