I interpret VA laws to review claims in order to assure all issues have been addressed. I collect documentation that helps RVSRs determine service-connection, percentage, and entitlement to compensation. I actively participate in Teams meetings, and assist other VSRs learn skills related to claims, development, and ratings. I analyze claims to see if diseases/injuries were obtained by military service in the line of duty for purposes of compensation, treatment, or hospitalization. I participate in meetings, assists with training, and I am expected to lend help with developing VSRs' skills as they relate to evidence gathering for rating decisions.
