A recent AXLEOS survey revealed that nearly 60% of organisations reporting ‘great’ ITSM success also achieved considerable progress in their digital transformation initiatives. This statistic highlights the critical link between effective ITSM practices and wider digital strategies – a connection I have witnessed in my 17 years in the IT sector. At present, I am leading Application Management at ARU. My journey, spanning various leadership roles including Head of IT, has centred around utilising ITSM as a strategic driver.Armed with a comprehensive skill set in strategic IT planning, operational management, and service delivery, my focus has always been to align large-scale IT services with organisational goals.
