Asset Manager with over 40 years of electric power industry experience including design, construction, operation and management of wind, solar, hydroelectric, nuclear and fossil generation and transmission systems. Currently Asset Manager for Osaka Gas’ Michigan Power 123MW IPP Plant along with 1945 MW LP portfolio interests in solar and gas-fired IPP projects since January 2008. Previously, joined Reunion Power in 2005 as Asset Manager for 190 MW portfolio of mid-west wind turbines. Applied large fossil plant discipline to wind projects, re-focusing O&M staff on profitability rather than reactive maintenance. P&L responsibility including evaluation of capital expenditures, implementation of detailed budgeting modeling, Lender reporting and interface, direct O&M and all regulatory issues. Upon sale of assets by owner (GE), lead technical and regulatory efforts for wind and bio-mass development projects including interconnection, fuel handling, ISO qualification and regulatory filings. Prior to joining Reunion, served as Asset Manager for three owner/developers of IPP projects. Duties included directing power marketing efforts, representation in PJM and NYISO, participation in regional industry groups such as IPPNY, along with P&L responsibility for hydro, cogeneration and traditional gas-fired fossil plants ranging in size from 1 MW to over 1000 MW. Successfully lead tax appeal efforts for plants in New York, Maine and Illinois. Developed an extensive knowledge of the electric markets from both the utility and IPP perspectives.Holds an MBA from Rutgers Graduate School of Management and a BS in Civil Engineering from Rutgers College of Engineering. Extensive participation in industry related training and professional development course work.
