P&L Responsibility for Osaka’s 100% interest in 123 MW Michigan Power Plant, 50% interest in 15M MW BFS Solar, and 1945 MW portfolio of limited partner interests in four (4) projects in the United States, including projects in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and North Carolina.Manage NAES O&M Contract including direct report of Plant personnel· Monitor and report on individual project performance and market conditions.· Manage Bank relationship including all accounting, reporting and compliance issuances.· Represent Osaka at all partnership meetings, communications with Partner Asset Managers, Plant Managers and Accounting Staff.· Insure compliance with all project documents including notifications and approvals.· Actively participate in project restructuring, power contract, O&M and tolling agreements and capital projects.· Support portfolio development and acquisition efforts, including developing contacts, valuations and technical reviews.· Internal reporting to both US and Japan management.· Lead annual review of Project Budgets and development of Portfolio Budget.

Profit and loss responsibility for Reunion’s 190 MW portfolio, of 250 wind turbines located in Storm Lake, Iowa and Lake Benton, Minnesota. Direct financial issues, two PPA’s, O&M Agreement, insurance and regulatory requirements while addressing numerous technical and financial issues resulting from the projects’ Enron heritage. Development of renewable energy projects (wind and bio-mass) including permitting, financial modeling, interconnection, fuel supply and PPA’s.· Direct culture change from maintenance focus to maximizing revenue.· Manage bank and owner (GE) relationships during project work-out/refinancing.· Implemented process improvements to invoice tracking, invoice analysis and approval, annual budgeting, daily and monthly operations reporting.· Represented owner (GE) during sale of projects to (AES) including bidder presentations, site tours, technical and financial queries and successful closing in May 2007.· Continued as Project Manager and transitioned with new owner (AES) for five (5) months after closing.

Profit and loss responsibility for the 1,100 MW Kendall County Generating Station, located in PJM West, outside Chicago, IL. Direct financial issues, two PPA’s, O&M agreement, merchant sales, environmental and regulatory requirements while adding value through operational optimization and contractual opportunities.· Direct contracted Energy Manager for PJM bid strategy and plant dispatch.· Pursue real estate tax appeal valued over $12MM.· Manage Plant O&M contractor and LTSA Agreement to maintain plant GT’s. Contract values in excess of $15MM per year.

Responsible for external business issues of NRG Energy’s 5,470 MW Northeast portfolio during the bankruptcy and restructuring process. Direct external business issues, tax strategy, leases, right-of-ways and all local contacts while supporting company’s efforts to restructure the portfolio and emerge from bankruptcy in record time.· Lead team resolving $18MM claim for liquid fuel unloading pier failure.· Initiated active management of $30MM annual tax liability for New York State Plants.· Lead project analysis teams during restructuring to determine advisability of continuing or abandoning and writing-off on-going capital projects.

Profit and loss responsibility for the 1,456 MW Arthur Kill and Astoria Plants, purchased from Con Edison in 1999 for $505MM with annual budgeted after-tax revenue of over $66MM. Direct financial issues, contracts and regulatory requirements while adding value through capital projects and contractual opportunities.· Identified, obtained approvals and started construction on $30MM of value added projects.· Successfully pursued $10MM of insurance claims.· Advocated NRG interests as Vice-Chair of NYISO BIC (Business Issues Committee).· Obtained waiver from Article X for proposed 80MW Astoria Expansion.· Coordinated NRG’s UCAP bidding strategy which accounted for 3⁄4 of NYC revenue.· Lead development of financial and operating standards for NRG’s eastern assets.
