• As a member of the central Reporting & Analytics team within the Amsterdam headquarters, my team and I are responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading the wide variety of data essential to day-to-day operations across departments (e.g., Logistics, Medical, HR, Fundraising, Finance) and their autonomous platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SQL databases, Azure Data Factory) into the central data warehouse.• Encourage and enable colleagues to be data-driven by making data and data products (e.g., PowerBI reports, ad-hoc analyses) valuable and accessible to them.• Empower teams to adopt best practices by providing and developing PowerBI trainings and information sessions, as well as their accompanying materials.• Lead the organisation in helping to set guidelines and policies for handling data and data-related products.

• Next to my daily work, I am also one of the first batch of voluntary Confidantes (NL: Vertrouwenspersoon) at the Amsterdam headquarters.• In this role, we offer a safe space for colleagues who have had (an) experience(s) that made them uncomfortable at work. We are available to confidentially talk about what happened, go through the options together, come up with a plan for next steps, and/or general support along the way.
