Covers a broad range of real estate industries, including multifamily, retail, single-family rental, office, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial. Financed several asset-level deals in the office, self-storage, and retail space;- Worked closely with Real Estate Investment Banking and Equity Research to foster and maintain meaningful and lucrative relationships with firm-wide clients, focusing on debt and investment structures, financial modeling, collateral valuation, return on equity modeling, and credit risk management.

- Closed over $475MM in commercial real estate acquisitions. Member of the acquisitions underwriting team responsible for determining the feasibility of mission critical assets around the globe (e.g. hospital buildings, data centers) for potential acquisition by the rapidly growing REIT, ranging from $5MM- $125MM per asset;- Prepared investment summaries that presented the assets to executive management, the board of directors, and the lender committee. The investment summaries included key facts about the asset, financial analysis, market analysis, tenant analysis, guarantor analysis, financing terms, lease terms, and rate of return;- Evaluated asking price of the asset while determining and recommending a purchase price, an appropriate capitalization rate, and suitable rents; - Underwrote strengths, risks, and mitigants of acquisitions and tenants by analyzing cash flows and valuations, reviewing audits, examining construction budgets, and having conversations with tenants.

• Underwrote over $2.9B of participations in syndicated bank debt transactions across multiple industries, including: $640MM Business Systems & Technology; $475MM Consumer Products and Services; $420MM REITs; $380MM Retail Trade; $265MM Industrial Manufacturing; $125MM Restaurants • Prepared Credit Approval Memorandums for presentation to the credit committee; the memorandum included detailed EBITDA/NOI analysis, use of various valuation methodologies, return on equity modeling, industry research, equity analyst commentary, discounted cash flows, various credit metrics, strengths and weaknesses, competitive landscape, and no growth/downside projections of cash flow. Analyzes credit agreements for accuracy compared to internal approvals• Prepared quarterly and annual reviews, made loan loss reserve decisions, presented amendment and restructuring requests to the credit committee for approval, and tracked secondary market opportunities • Worked with Special Assets to underwrite discounted payoffs for Special Mention/Substandard borrowers.
