I performed help-desk, sysadmin, and domain admin duties for both intranet and extranet resources. I assisted in maintaining core, distribution, and access-layer functions of a network, including proprietary solutions. I evaluated aircraft parts for powertrain systems on Blackhawk and Apache helicopters as a part of the 1st Infantry Division's 4th Brigade Combat Team. Parts were to be repaired to operational status or tagged for decommissioning. I also performed NDI (Non-Destructive Inspection) of parts with scientific methods such as Eddie Current, Ultrasound, Dye-Penetrant, Mag-Particle, and X-Ray testing methods to examine parts for microscopic surface and sub-surface flaws. I was awarded multiple awards for excellent performance.

I maintained and operated the MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) in both driver and gunner positions. I navigated the unit in all weather conditions in harsh terrain. The primary mission was to remain undetected, emerge from hiding when a fire mission was called, drive to a firing position, engage the mission, and safely retreat to hiding again. I operated equipment which required a secret security clearance.
