Event Project Group/Convergence Technology contracted me via TPL Connect to design and Project Manage the HFC TV Distribution Overlay Solution for the 20 Venues.Also required was the linking of the content to the 3 major sites (GHQ, Games Village and International Broadcast Centre) via an IPTV system utilizing the Optus Fibre Backbone.The Scope was to provide an adaptive service that would cater for a range of video and audio inputs (upto 28 Feeds plus FTA) from the event venues.Requirements included but were not limited to the following.• Design for 20 Individual Sites• Production of the BOM• Installation of Communications room equipment and active Field Equipment across all sites.• Integration into existing CATV systems at some sites.• Testing• Technical maintenance• Technical Support during the Commonwealth Games across all venues.• Removal of Equipment from Communications Rooms after games completion.

In my time at Rauland, I led a team of 15 technology, project management and service professionals, who managed the design and installation of nurse call and patient entertainment systems in Queensland hospitals, along with ongoing client service throughout the life of the systems.
