Oversaw and directed all company operations with $80 million in annual revenues and 1500+ employees. Upgraded and implemented an appropriate system of clinical policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and various other procedures and policies related to quality assurance, labor, and revenue management. Planed, coordinated, and executed the annual budget process. Ensured the Regional Vice Presidents adhered to the strategic plan. Delivered status reports to the board of directors. Provided analytical support to internal management team including development of internal management reporting policies and procedures. Worked closely with the CEO and CFO on five rounds of acquisitions that grew the company from 11 skilled nursing facilities in 2010 to 28 skilled nursing facility and one mental health facility in 2013.Developed the clinical support team which included the recruitment of the Clinical Vice President of Operations, Director of Case Management and Reimbursement and many other ancillary clinical positions including the structuring of a third party clinical consulting team consisting of regulatory experts, medical doctors, nursing home administrators and registered nurses. Negotiated, oversaw and directed five System Improvement Agreement (SIA) contracts with the state of Kansas and CMS, a Quality Assurance program consisting of monitoring, root cause analysis, reporting and quality improvement. All five contracts were successfully completed and in good standing with the state of Kansas and CMS within six months. Instrumental in graduating a skilled nursing facility off the Kansas Special Focus Facility List.Recruited and grew the operations team from one to eight, including new positions in clinical, therapy and regional operations.
