Sabyasachi is Chief Information Officer at Parksons Packaging Limited, which is one of the leading Paper Packaging companies of India , delivering packaging solutions to its clients in India and abroad. Parksons has supplied its products to most leading brands of India , from its 8 world class manufacturing plants , located pan India . IT is one of the core functions at Parksons , which has helped in enabling the growth of the company over the years . Sabyasachi is responsible for driving the IT strategy at Parksons, in alignment with the vision of the management . He is responsible for the new projects as well as optimised utilisation of IT investment in the organisation. He sits on the India Leadership Team of Parksons. Sabyasachi has led various enterprise projects at Parksons such as SAP S4 HANA, Salesforce , Qliksense BI , Adrenalin HRMS , Webcenter ( ESKO ) product design to name a few. Besides, he is also driving Merger & Acquisition IT Integration process when Parksons acquires new companies. He has worked with SAP in three different organisations having different business requirements. He has worked with wide range of partners and IT vendors in India and is well connected in the CIO Community. He stood 4th in class at the PGDBM course of IIM Kolkata and featured in Institute’s Honours role. He also completed BE in Electronics & telecommunication Engineering , from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He also got professional certifications, such as PMP, ITIL, CII(UK). Sabyasachi has over 29 years of experience as a seasoned IT professional having handled complex and diverse IT Projects and operations in Indian and global organisations.He was previously Heading IT of CenturyPly , which is also a leading B2C manufacturing company in India . He also worked in the Corporate IT department of ITC for several years and led various IT initiatives therein. He has worked as the first CIO of Aon( global leader in insurance Broking )in India. Sabyasachi also worked in CIO consulting and provided CIO service to mid sized Corporates in India, and also worked in a pharma start-up called AIOCD Ltd and developed IT platform for Pharmaceutical products distribution. Sabyasachi has authored various articles and shared perspectives on IT trends in leading Indian media publications and regularly contributes white papers and articles on IT. He has also been awarded with various CIO awards for his projects and contributions in the field of IT. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, music and meditation.
