Frontend Platform Team

- Built, from the ground up, a responsive web app that manages the scheduling and registration for school programs, collectively serving over 100K students.- Maintain codebase and manage prioritization and bug fixes in conjunction with cofounder and client base.- Developed front end (Backbone) and back end (Rails) with GraphQL.Integration with multiple services: Stripe, Paypal, Google, Outlook and Blackbaud - Set up and maintain servers and database.

- Team lead for the Marketplace team - was technical lead for the team, as well as a mix of project planning, delivery management, and team culture.- Led the replatforming and engineering effort to redesign our marketing site. Drove development of the new architecture, transitioning from Craft to a headless CMS in Contentful, with Gatsby. Optimized with AWS Lambda@Edge to manage caching and redirects.- Converted much of the Marketplace from legacy Flux components, to Graphql and Apollo, as well as adopting Typescript.- Worked with product and design to help set goals, identify solutions, and plan out work.

- Led front end development of the new eBay desktop and mobile homepage. - Contributed to other teams including the new Global Header for mobile web, browse pages, and the new Interest Onboarding experience for mobile/desktop web.- Optimized for site speed across a multitude of browsers and devices.- Drove excellence in accessibility for users with disabilities.- Contributed to MarkoJS: added ‘import’ tag, ‘once-’ directive.

- Led the front end team as agile scrummaster.- Developed front end features for the Ebay homepage, following and interest pages.- Worked on new mobile web experience in Node.

- Built the front end of the EastMeetEast Rails app, from the founding to current version. - Site has seen growth from 0 to over 30k users and successful first round of funding in excess of 500k.

- Developed relationships with clients to understand their needs and identify their problem. - Designed and pitched sites and solutions based on client specifications. - Developed custom web solutions.

- Converted current sites into a responsive template used by over 40 sub-brands. - New sites increased sales across all verticals and mobile views by 30%.

- Designed book covers for the Teaching Resources department- Designed wide range of other teacher materials- Worked with freelance artists to complete projects
