This position was a challenging role during which I architected, and assisted with the implementation and deployment of numerous projects including -· Tall Building Internet Product utilizing Cisco routers to provide services over various in-building last mile technologies while integrating with existing radius authentication and billing systems.· Secure Private Network (SPN) product providing companies with multiple sites a carrier managed layer 3 VPN by means of MPLS on a Cisco network· High availability hosting platform using load balanced application servers with an iSCSI SAN for backend storage· Software As A Service (SaaS) product offering clients hosted Terminal Server desktops in conjunction with hosted Microsoft Exchange serversWhile at GCB I initiated a number of internal projects to improve workflow including the SharePoint Portal, driving improved business performance by allowing workers to easily find, analyze and share business information.

While at EMIC I worked as part of a close knit team on diverse projects including –· Airtel – Evaluated several PTMP wireless solutions from various vendors basedon technical merit and business requirements, as well as successfully deploying apilot network consisting of Motorola Canopy TDMA cells, Linux routers(BGP/OSPF) and Cisco switching· Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology – Consulted on WAN/LAN requirements for their25 laboratories, throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales, as partof an information / document management system conducted by EMICConsulting· Virtual Server – Developed a unique internet hosting product which used servervirtualization to provide multiple “dedicated servers” on shared hardware, thecore technologies used included VMware GSX/ESX and XEN

When I started at Data FX Online I initially assisted with onsite technical work and the deployment of the ISP network which later evolved into the position of ISP Manager.The management of both vendors and carriers was a demanding task, however one whichI thoroughly enjoyed. While at Data FX I also conducted presales support designingcustomer internet networks.
