I lead a public relations agency, Scurfield Group, that delivers best-in-class results with a hands-on, personal approach and a passion for people, storytelling and community. Since founding the agency in 2017, we have built a diverse and loyal client base across the hospitality, food and beverage, arts, fashion, real estate and professional services industries.Our core competencies include media relations, social media, influencer marketing and content creation. We have developed and maintained relationships with local, regional and national media outlets, securing editorial placements in print and digital media, television and radio. I have also helped launch and manage social media accounts and campaigns for clients, reaching and engaging millions of followers and influencers. Our mission is to help clients achieve their goals and grow their brands by telling their unique and authentic stories to their target audiences.I previously worked for the Houston Texans (2007-13) as the primary writer for the team's website and publications, managing editor of website and publications and Texans Insider. That led to me working in PR at a small Houston agency, where I got to work with an array of clients in different industries. From there, I launched Scurfield Group in 2017 and became a co-founder of Trill Burgers in Houston in 2021. I'm a diehard Texans and Houston Astros fan and supporter of all things Houston, which has been my home since 2007. I love food, travel and spending time with my family, and in recent years I have started learning to play piano. I speak half-decent Italian after studying abroad in Florence in college and catsitting for an old college professor there in the summer of 2022 and 2023. And I love USC football. Fight On.
