I am being trained to find positive solutions for a range of employment disputes. I was selected as part of a national recruitment drive.

As an effective project officer for UWE I have worked on two key strategic priorities for the university. This has included working on both International partnerships and distance learning provision.International Partnerships• I have implemented a standard approach to travel booking across the department. This has led to both smoother experience of travel for academics and cost savings. • Effectively helped to promote both inbound and outbound student mobility. I have organised trips for multiple student groups in Hong Kong. This invoiced clear communication between staff. I have also helped organise a visit for students visiting Oman. • Worked with SHAPE (VTC) in Hong Kong to develop an Alumni group. This involved collaborative working between multiple stakeholders. We held the first even on the 11th June 2018 in VTC tower. This also included developing marketing and mail shots to students. The event had 48 people attend and was under budget.• Developed procedures and processes for visa applications, a major hotel account and invoicing of partners. • Manage events for visiting partners and helped to facilitate overseas graduations.Distance Learning• Improve administrative processes across the distance learning course. By using data for module feedback and academic feedback I have improved the universities approach to admissions of distance learners. • Significantly Increased response rates across two distance learning programmes for the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey. This has included using multiple forms of communication and creating a direct mailing strategy. This included personalised mailshots to target specific groups of students. • Managed the communication and organisation for the first Bristol Real Estate Society meeting at Mud dock. This included using both LinkedIn and targeted mailshots. The event had over 50 people attend.• Provided reporting facilities to help improve planning and performance.

Lead Quality Officer: Business StudiesI am the lead Quality Officer for Business Studies across South Gloucestershire and Stroud College (both Stroud and Filton sites). I am responsible for the certification of 195 Learners. I am also responsible for enrolling learners, training staff in assessment processes, following quality regulations, organising internal and external quality samples and claiming certification for qualifications.Course Team Leader Level 3 BusinessI am responsible for planning, delivering and assessing the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Business to learners aged 16 and above. 70% of this role is advanced administration such as timetabling, updating student records and maintaining markbooks. In addition, I mentor and train staff across the College.Main duties:- I am responsible for a course of 140 students. This has been recognised as an outstanding course by OFSTED and EdExcel. I teach and assess a number of modules and develop digital learning resources for the College's Virtual Learning Environment.- I am a pioneer for the College's electronic marking system and have provided training to colleagues on the use of this system.- I am responsible for co-ordinating educational trips, large employer and career events, best teaching practice fairs and carrying out risk assessments for each of the above.- I am co-ordinator of the UCAS application process for all Level 3 Business students at the College. This involves giving career guidance, delivering personal statement workshops, writing references, facilitating the application process and verifying personal statements. -I managed events for learners and staff. This has included a Careers Fair with 15 stalls run by local and national organisations including NatWest and UWE.This was attended by 250 learners. -I take on wider responsibilities within the department, including interviewing new members of staff, mentoring and observing colleagues.

Chosen Hill School Gloucestershire & Wider Gloucestershire Area

I worked as a Supply Teacher for Hays Education and gained a contract with Chosen Hill School as a Teacher of History and English. I was awarded an observation grade of 'Good with Outstanding features' by Ofsted.

I ran a small historical site in Winchcombe. I was responsible for retailing, security, customer service, cleaning and cash handling.
