The mission of the Professional Responsibility in Athletic Training (PRAT) Committee is to support the legal, ethical and regulatory (LER) standards of the AT Strategic Alliance by encouraging and promoting adherence. The PRAT collaboratively works with the Strategic Alliance to proactively inform professional practice by streamlining LER resources, educating professionals about how to exercise those standards and establishing an online presence.

Associate Manager for Sports Medicine coordinates and supervises day-to-day operations of associates in their region of responsibility as well as work assignment changes based on service level needs. Associate managers will plan, organize, and direct associate standards of quality and ensure consistency is met across the system. Associate Manager will help the sports medicine department manage competencies/strategies and operate in a cost effective manner.

• Responsible for day to day staffing of 20 plus associates• Clinical quality review, compliance and oversight of athletic trainers providing outreach medical coverage at 13 high/middle schools and 1 college• Project management:o System wide coordination and implementation of a new electronic medical record – Healthy Rostero Organization and oversight for regional sports physicals – average over 3,500 athletes annuallyo Led comprehensive modernization of program overview contract proposal and renewal document• Maintain matrixed relationships with physical therapy, imaging, patient access, urgent care and physician groups at the OhioHealth Hilliard Health Center• Clinical responsibilities and patient care including administration of durable medical equipment, home exercise programs, patient education, communication with and priority scheduling access for referring athletic trainers.• Completion of Neighborhood Care’s Developing Leaders Program• Primary supervisor for the finance quadrant and content management of @OHSportsMed on Twitter and Instagram

• Coverage of an OHSAA Division I high school with 28 Varsity Sports and over 900 student-athletes• Established a comprehensive medical recordkeeping system including emergency action plans and AED protocols• Worked in cooperation with the athletic department on matters of compliance and health care policy/procedures• Maintained communication with parents, physicians, school personnel and administration regarding the healthcare and safety of student-athletes.• Completion of Neighborhood Care’s Emerging Leaders Program• Formed a student high school athletic training aide program• Implemented guidelines and recommendations for school-based pre-participation physical exams.
