As an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, I uphold the rule of law and seek justice for the people of New York. With over two years of experience in the Trial Division, I handle a variety of criminal cases, ranging from misdemeanors to felonies, and conduct investigations, hearings, and trials. I have a strong background in litigation, having worked as an associate at Hughes, Hubbard & Reed, a leading law firm in securities and white collar litigation. There, I was part of the trial team that secured the first jury verdict finding that cryptocurrencies are not securities in a class action case. I also pursued a multi-billion dollar fraud claim on behalf of a client. Additionally, I have a passion for pro bono work, having represented two incarcerated clients who were granted parole thanks to my advocacy. I graduated cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, where I participated in the Pro Bono Scholar Program and passed the NY Bar Exam. I also hold a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University, with a focus on English, Theatre, and Public Relations. I am fluent in French and have studied Latin and Ancient Greek.

Pro Bono Scholar, Criminal Defense Clinic At Lincoln Square Legal ServicesNew York Pro Bono Scholars Program Jan 2020 - May 2020I represented two incarcerated clients. Both were granted parole between March and April of 2020. With my professor I wrote and filed an emergency Article 78 petition commenced by an Order to Show Cause. The petition was based on errors in a client’s Limited Credit Time Allowance parole interview that resulted in a parole denial after that hearing.I also argued the merits of this Article 78 petition in a virtual court appearance before a civil court judge in NY County. I also argued against Respondents’ motions to change venue and dismiss for mootness. The judge issued a decision denying all of Respondents’ motions and granting our (Petitioner’s) petition in its entirety. I also represented a client at arraignment in New York County, worked on an investigation plan for this client and explained the ramifications of COVID-19 on the speedy trial clock in relation to his case. As part of the pro bono scholars program I attended a weekly two hour seminar at Fordham University School of Law covering topics that affect pro bono representation of clients in all areas of the law. Finally, part of the pro bono scholars program requires sitting for the February 2020 New York bar exam. I took and passed the NY’s February 2020 bar exam.
