As a BI Consultant, I managed the BI landscape for the Burgerzaken and Begraven Business Units. My role involved addressing Cognos notifications, creating dashboards and reports for key business insights, and analyzing customer journeys on municipal websites using Piwik Pro. I also programmed in Python to automate data retrieval and transfer processes to a cloud-based database. I worked with various technologies such as Cognos, PowerBI, SQL, Python, Azure, and Piwik Pro. Additionally, I set up Azure environments, provided Cognos training, and handled second-line incidents.

During my time at the Municipality of Gorinchem, I conducted research on the implementation of GGI-Veilig, a crucial project in light of increasing cybercrime. This report highlights the preparations the municipality needs to make for successful integration of GGI-Veilig with the aim of meeting the Baseline Informatiebeveiliging Overheid Cybersecurity (BIO) standards. Key findings include the structure of the GGI-Netwerk, the norm framework of BIO for information security, and the coverage of various BIO measures by GGI-Veilig. The report offers concrete recommendations, such as obtaining a comprehensive overview of configuration items, setting up processes for handling alerts, and planning timelines for terminations and tenders. These insights enable the ICT manager and specialists to take action to enhance the digital resilience of the Municipality of Gorinchem.
