Embedded System Software/Firmware engineer who works across the breadth of the industry, from 8-bit micro-controllers up to multi-core Embedded Linux based systems. I design, architect, and implement software/firmware for various systems utilizing primarily the C programming language. My unique background allows me to work closely with hardware teams to interpret customer requirements/needs so as to optimize the system for both hardware and software functionality. Understanding the system synergy between the hardware and software/firmware is a key component to the overall success of the project meeting the customer’s needs and requirements; completely, accurately, and on time. Many of my colleagues consider me to the the “go to” person for knowledge and information, as I am a life-long learner and try my very best to keep up with the developments within the embedded system industry, including networking, processor architectures, OS/RTOS, Tools/Debuggers, and languages.
