I am a Registered Dietitian under the College of Dietitians of Ontario, I have had a variety of experiences during my practical training at UHN in clinical nutrition, community health promotion, food system management, and evidence-based research. I am driven by my ambition to work in nutrition care, and serve my community to the best of my ability. I completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Toronto (2021), have a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Nutrition and Food from Ryerson University (2019), and a Bachelor of Social Science (BSocSc) from the University of Ottawa (2014). I am committed to continued learning being a constant throughout my career, and welcome new challenges in exploring public health. I have cultivated my experience in nutrition and dietetics with intention, taking every opportunity to learn. During my internship at UHN I completed rotations in acute care at Toronto General Hospital in General Surgery, Nephrology, Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), and the inpatient Eating Disorder Clinic, Diabetes Management at Toronto Western Hospital, and Musculoskeletal Rehab at Toronto Rehab Institute. I have over 500 hours of volunteer experience and significant nutrition related work experience adding to my practical training completed at UHN. I volunteered at St. Michael’s Hospital working in Gestational Diabetes, worked at the SFS at Sick Kids Hospital, and worked at Sunnybrook Hospitals in the diet office during my undergraduate degree pursuing dietetics. I am currently seeking opportunities to utilize the skills I have been developing over the past 5 years in my pursuit to become a Registered Dietitian. I am dedicated to having a significant impact through the work I accomplish. I thrive working with others in an environment where I can both continue to learn and contribute in a meaningful way.
