Responsible for the growth of the groups overseas business and strengthening relationships with overseas partners.

Member of the Executive Committee responsible for the management and development of the Malay Content Network (“MCN”), a business unit of ASTRO. Responsible for all financial matters for the MCN, including financial reporting (statutory, management and ASTRO Board of Directors), financial planning and analysis, budgeting and taxation matters. Managed a finance and administration team of 35 personnel including 7 direct reports.The MCN distributes 9 linear television channels to the ASTRO Pay TV service in Malaysia and ASTRO branded channels to Vietnam and Singapore. The MCN produces and acquires approximately 10,000 hours of television programs per annum across all genres. The MCN comprises a production unit that owns seven television studios, a drama unit through a joint venture arrangement with an Indonesian drama production company and a Filmed Entertainment unit. The MCN employs approximately 600 people directly and engages another 300 freelance staff.

Member of the Executive Committee charged with the development and performance of the business. Responsible for all financial reporting matters for the company (management reporting, shareholder reporting, local regulatory and taxation). Also responsible for cashflow and treasury matters and all financial planning and analysis.Achievements included the establishment and development of Finance, Business Development and Credit and Collections teams (35 personnel) and the establishment and development of controls, processes and procedures to ensure the safeguarding of company assets and to meet financial reporting requirements.PT Direct Vision was a start up Pay TV company, a Joint venture between ASTRO and Lippo servicing Indonesia via Direct to Home (“DTH”) satellite. From launch in February 2006 the business grew to service over 140,000 Subscribers and employ over 330 personnel. The Joint Venture was wound up in October 2008.

Reporting to the CFO responsible for the preparation of financial reports for ASX and bank reporting purposes, audit management, taxation planning and management, accounts payable and payroll.

Planning and execution of various audit engagements spanning mining and exploration, food processing, chemicals manufacture and processing.
