I am a Computer Science graduate who is drawn to technology in various ways. Since 2015, I have been working within the SaaS industry to oversee and manage teams that grow and support strategic, enterprise-level client portfolios throughout all facets of the customer journey. My passion for implementations and client services brought me to my current role as an Implementation Consultant at Iterable - where I work within the Professional Services team to onboard/support new clients to the platform. During both my employment and studies, I have learned languages like Java, SQL, and Python - authentication technologies such as SAML - and web architectures such as Javascript and REST API's - as well as many concepts involving the software development lifecycle and related Agile methodologies. I have also gained experience as a liaison between technical and business resources, consistently speaking with the executive team of our clients and acting as their advocate when corresponding with our own development team. Not only do I have to stay up-to-date with the ever changing technologies of the company, but be able to apply them in a real-world scenario that is both applicable and convenient to the clients I support.My main passion lies within this concept. No matter the technology, having a broad scope and understanding only makes new concepts easier to grasp. I find that even the best of innovation can fail if it lacks the mindset of its customers. In order to develop something truly capable, one must consider the entire perspective behind its conception - going beyond just the technology and into its environment.While there is still much to learn, I find that one of the most powerful pathways into technology comes from knowing what happens on the inside. By aiding the production of more efficient and powerful components, we will be able to lead the way to finding entirely new ways to think about what technology can accomplish.
