I formerly was a senior investor sourcing, structuring and closing venture, private and public equity investments for Intel Corporation in the semiconductor design, technology development and manufacturing domain, including the manufacturing supply chain for 25 years. I was active as a board director or observer at multiple companies during that time.

Lead investor for Intel Capital equity investments, including ASML Holdings $3 billion equity investment and minority investments in ASM International (Nasdaq:ASMI), Micron Technology (Nasdaq:MU) and Photronics' (Nasdaq:PLAB). Closed venture financings in over 20 companies including Energetiq Technology, IMS Microfabrication, Inpria Corporation, Rocketick, Voltaix Inc. and others.

Managed a team responsible for sourcing and closing private and public equity investments worldwide to deliver competitive advantage to Intel's global manufacturing operations, including: $100M+ Series A in Elpida Memory (IPO TYO:6665), $450M Micron (NYSE:MU), $80M Euroyen CV bond offering Nikon (TYO:7731), NaWoTec Gmbh (acquired by Zeiss), ALIS (acquired by Zeiss), Xtreme Technologies (acquired by Ushio), Lotes (IPO TPE), Tri Chemical Laboratories (IPO Osaka) and Epichem Ltd (acquired by Sigma Aldrich).

Managed a four person Treasury team responsible for due diligence, valuation analysis, deal structuring and negotiation of investment terms on behalf of Intel. Negotiated, structured and closed approximately 60 transactions in 1999 and 2000, including: Stratus Computer recap; ServerWorks: warrant transaction (acquired by Broadcom for $957M); Cronos: Series A investment (acquired by JDSU for $750M), High Speed Solutions Series A (acquired by Intel). Treasury manager for the Intel 64 Fund, LLC, a $250 million venture fund with co-investors Dell, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, Morgan Stanley and others.
