As a Functional Nutritionist, I provide 1:1 individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy sessions via Telehealth EMR PracticeBetter. Sessions include assessment of medical and diet history, and lab work evaluation with SOAP charting. I use an evidenced-based research approach to build personalized meal plans, treatment protocols, supplement recommendations, and nutrition education. I specialize in nutrition for geriatric, autoimmune disorders, gastrointestinal health, and metabolic health. I am currently under clinical supervision through The Clinicians Incubator to accrue supervision hours with the ANA BCNS.

I am the implementation specialist for wellness programs and lead the team in company wellness initiatives, planning and executing company-wide events, tracking engagement and participation. During program strategy and implementation, I ensure all programs run smoothly, delegating tasks to team members, including communication tools, tracking tools, and incentive tracking. I create and distribute all benefit and wellness communication material via email, company intranet, and mail. I partner with various department leaders to design programs based on employee feedback. During OE, I assist the HRIS team in building the benefit platform, updating all documentation, handbooks, coverage changes and enrollment eligibility.

In this role, I was the main point of contact for all HRIS related questions (recruiting, hiring, onboarding, background checks, employment changes, terminations, L&D). I provided support to the retail field team, corporate office, and distribution centers for any HRIS related issues, including troubleshooting. I provided support for quarterly audits, SOX reporting, and harassment training.

As an administrative assistant, I provided support to all functions of HR (recruiting, benefits, employee relations). I assisted with worker’s compensation, LOA, and disability claims, filling out claims and distributing to the appropriate person. I audited paper W-4 and I-9’s, and submitted E-Verify requests to the DOH. I provided excellent customer service while covering the reception desk, handling multiple incoming calls, walk-in vendors, and mail distribution.
