Solinea is the leading Open Infrastructure consulting and tools company in the marketplace.Projects Include:• Media and Entertainment - Facilitated their transition from traditional virtualization to Cloud Computing both public and private. This included a migration to an agile, DevOps based process. Scient was an ecommerce technology consulting firm founded by principal executives from IBM. Clients ranged from a startup, with newly acquired venture capital, to large enterprise companies.Worked with clients to identify and apply their technology needs. The projects focused on implementing internet technologies to meet the growing online presence required for both new and established businesses.

Migrated 3,000+ users from Lotus cc:Mail to Microsoft Exchange. As the project lead, assessed the current email and wide area systems and based on those findings, implemented a Microsoft Exchange network. Based on a pilot of about 100 users, developed a migration plan for the rest of the system. Trained the end users and the administration staff on Microsoft Exchange and Windows NT Administration.

Designed and implemented new systems that utilized the full suite of Microsoft BackOffice systems. The LAN and WAN utlized many features of Windows NT Server including a Multiple Master Domain model, DHCP, WINS, and DNS. This was a growing 2,500 node TCP/IP network across all of the SOFTBANK facilities worldwide.Projects included: conversion of both desktop and server based computers to Windows NT; aided internal departments to design Windows based solutions; established connectivity to external clients including WAN connections; utlized SMS to populate a Human Resource employee database; worked with the Internet Development Group to provide online commerce system to generate sales for clients on the internet.
