At the time of my leaving the team had successfully run over 40 sprints.Project Novumeasyfundraising is a company dedicated to helping individuals/groups to raise money for their respective causes, easyfundraising has raised £10 million for charities so far.The easyfundraising website has been the cornerstone of the business since its inception, unfortunately the growth of the company has put demands on the site, demands it cannot meet.Project Novum is an ongoing project to build the foundations for a completely new website/platform to replace the creaking legacy systems.FoundationAs a senior developer and Scrum Master on the team I have been involved in the design and development of the framework the new systems will be based upon. Air-php (an open-source collection of components) has been in development since summer 2014, this collection of components provide the building blocks of Novum and have been designed and developed in-house and made available to the wider PHP community.Front-endAs a senior developer with Javascript development skills I was tasked to be the bridge between the UI team and the PHP team. Using the BackboneJS framework I am responsible for all template → view integration. SWIG templates are provided by the UI team to be converted to Mustache (addition of dynamic data driven content) and integrated into either PHP view/controllers or BackboneJS views dependent on the nature of user/view interaction.

I am currently the senior developer that represents the software development department, I am currently responsible for two developers. The software development department works with and supports all companies within the group. The Helpdesk captures and routes all support related email to its relevant helpdesk. Working within a team of three developers it is my responsibility for the design, development & support of software applications to complement Zytek’s race and road car products, such as: engines, gearboxes, electric drive trains and electronic management systems. Le Mans.I am also responsible for the development and support of a suite of data capture/analysis tools for Zytek’s LMP2 Sports cars that will be competing in Le Mans 24 Hour, Le Mans Series and American Le Mans Series. F3000 / A1GPThis suite of tools was also employed to support the Formula 3000 racing series and on the back of the success of F3000, Zytek won the contract to supply all engines, gear boxes, engine control units (ECU) and gear box control units (GCU) to the new ‘One Manufacturer’ A1GP racing series. The suite of tools was adapted and re-developed to support this new style of racing with new rules and regulations.I am also responsible for the development of the company Internet & Intranet systems using, Eclipse PDT, PHP 5, MySQL and Apache.Zytek has recently become part of the Sage Professional Development program and we are now embarking on projects to integrate company facing intranet based systems to backend stores/accounts systems that are controlled by Sage 200. All development to integrate with Sage is being carried out in Visual Studio 2008 utilising technologies such as ASP.NET.
