Sanjay Dominik Jena Email and Phone Number
Sanjay Dominik Jena is an Associate Professor at ESG, the management school of UQAM. He serves as the director of CRI2GS (Centre sur l'intelligence2 en gestion de systèmes complexes). He is also an adjunct professor at the Department of Computer Science and Operations Research at UdeM, a faculty member of the Canada Excellence Research Chair in “Data Science for Real-time Decision making” at Polytechnique Montréal, and a regular member of CIRRELT. Before, he has been a research associate at the chair, and a postdoctoral associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) within the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) program. His main expertise lies in the field of Operations Research, Computer Science and Mathematical Optimization. He has a particular interest in large-scale optimization, optimization under uncertainty and data-driven optimization, as well as its application to industrial problems, such as those in the field of transportation and Logistics.He has obtained his bachelor degree in Computer Science in his home town Cologne in Germany, his Master degree in Optimization from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, and his Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Université de Montréal in Canada.For further information, please contact by email: sanjay.jena@cirrelt.ca.
