Amino is a global leader in IP Television, Cloud Video, and OTT Solutions.I joined Amino by way of its acquisition of Entone, Inc. where I was CEO. Amino's acquisition of Entone in 2015 catapulted the company through a phase of major revenue and shareholder growth. I have overseen the global sales, marketing and business development activities of Amino during this period of high growth.

Following the sale of Entone's VOD business to Harmonic, Inc. in 2006, some of the company's IP was spun out to form a "newco", also called Entone. The new version of Entone focused on the development of next-generation IPTV devices that combined the best of broadcast television with "over the top" video services such as Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, and Vudu.As CEO and founding member of the Entone team, I led the company from pre-revenue to a position of industry market leadership, ultimately culminating in the sale of Entone to UK-based Amino Communications. The "exit" of Entone, Inc. through its sale to Amino was a successful outcome for both our venture capital investors and employees.

Entone Technologies was a revolutionary VOD software company founded in 2001 around the idea of delivering cable television services over IP networks. This is an idea that is obvious to all today but was controversial and ground breaking at the time. The core value proposition of Entone beyond the delivery of video over IP was the ability to take "off the shelf" servers from HP and IBM and to turn them into high-performing video pumps optimized for IP video delivery.With a combination of founder boot strapping, strategic investors, and a single round of venture capital, Entone Technologies went from pre-revenue to a global market leader. The company was sold to Harmonic, Inc. in 2006.The "exit" achieved through the sale of Entone to Harmonic was a positive outcome for both our venture capital investors and employees.

Ion Global, formerly the Web Connection, was one of Asia's pioneer in the development of the Internet and related services across Asia Pacific.I joined Web Connection as CEO when we were a team of 40 people in Hong Kong. I led the company through massive growth to 1,000+ employees across nine countries including Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, United Kingdom, and United States.The core idea of Web Connection was to create the only Pan-Asian system integrator focused on Internet services. We supported many of Asia's leading brands and emerged as the clear "go to" integrator for premium brands who saw the Internet as a new and revolutionary means of reaching customers.Web Connection was a subsidiary of China.com which listed on the NASDAQ in 1999.

I joined Andersen Consulting (later re-named Accenture) in 1986 and immediately focused my career on the media and communications industries. After several client engagements in the US, I was selected to help create Accenture's technology consulting practice in the Asia Pacific region.During my tenure with Accenture, I created and co-led our Asia Pacific electronic commerce practice, the center of innovation for Accenture's Internet consulting practice in the Asia Pacific region.
