Stewart is a Senior Program Officer at NSW Public Works. He is part of the Grant Program Assurance Team working to help deliver 60+ Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Projects across NSW worth >$250m (but much more to the impacted communities). In the private sector, Stewart has overseen the strategy, design, and delivery of major urban and other development projects for an impressive client list. He has over 15 years management experience and has received the Australian Institute of Management Professional Manager of the Year Award for his outstanding performance and leadership in the Toowoomba Region.With a background in urban planning and design, Stewart has contributed to the sustainability and livability of communities across Australia. He has worked as an accredited rating professional with the Green Building Council of Australia and the Urban Development Institute of Australia, and helped the Brisbane Airport Corporation achieve the first Green Star – Communities rating in the country. He is also a skilled communicator and facilitator, who has engaged extensively with stakeholders and participated in the Australia 2020 Summit on the future of Australian governance.
