CurrentMy assignments have included;Southwark Investments Ltd - Consultant (January 2009 - Present)Southwark Investments is an Edinburgh based owner/manager of a portfolio of investment and development of properties. Projects include a 300 unit strategic housing site on the south side of Edinburgh, a new build housing scheme around a golf course, a retail scheme in Midlothian and Business Parks in Somerset, Peterborough and Milton Keynes amongst others. My role has involved me working alongside/reporting to the Principal Shareholder in delivering schemes by identifying end users, taking the project through the planning process, delivering the buildings (if necessary) and securing the sale/letting.E-Rail Ltd - Consultant (Spring 2014 - Present)E-Rail is a specialist consultancy that provides advice to Local Authorities and transport infrastructure funders on the improvement on property values as a result of new transport schemes being brought forward. E-rail has a unique approach to harness these improved values to help contribute towards the costs of the scheme. My role is to analyse the local market where a scheme is proposed, give consideration to the likely new development opportunities and appraise the likely increase in value on a site by site basis. I also undertake building energy assessments and issue EPCs (Energy Performance Certificates) for Commercial and Domestic Properties.
