After an amazing 12+ year run at Google, I am taking time to connect more deeply with my family, engage in personal development, and have some fun. I am also contemplating what is next for me professionally. My goals for this break are to 1) engage in some rich experiences with my wife and kids 2) lean into my role as strategic advisor 3) design/build /publish an app end to end in Swift that leverages AI 4) beef up my boating skills with PowerSquadron classes and 5) increase my volunteer work. So far I've enjoyed every minute of it and will bring it to an end if and when something both interesting and challenging comes along.
