One of the most significant issues in our world today is, as Henry Ford said, "Most people spend more time and energy going around problems than in trying to solve them."I have always had a passion for solving problems. When I was young, I told people I wanted to be an inventor. Since then, I have developed my love and ability for problem-solving through my hobbies and in school, as I have taken courses in product development and quality & reliability as I complete a bachelor's degree. I am energized by opportunities to improve the world around me by finding solutions to everyday problems, inconveniences, and inefficiencies.Through school, I have developed a practical understanding of processes, concepts, and skills within several complementary focus areas, including a major in Technology Systems with an emphasis in Product Development (product innovation, project management, CAD, CAM), a minor in Business (leadership, accounting, finance, operation management, data analytics), and a certificate in Quality & Reliability (SPC, root cause analysis, Lean manufacturing, quality management systems). I have also completed formal training in Lean Six Sigma.
