● Conduct a Safety Audit and review all aspects of safety policy, systems and procedures both management and technical aspects that are presently being followed by the client.● Reviewing the inbuilt safety features / inadequacies if any in the existing system of client.● Analysis of hazard and risks associated with present process of installation, operation and maintenance of the manufacturing plants, distribution network, sub stations, Hydel power stations and Solar Power Station.● Analysis of various elements of safety system i. e. safe work permit system, shut down and start up procedure, safety inspection report, personal protective equipment, inspection & maintenance records of tools and tackles, contractors’ safety system, safety for consumers & general public, First Aid facilities, emergency planning preparedness and response system, safely Rules and Regulations etc.● Review of fire hazard prevention and their control system in lines & substations, stores and Hydel Power Stations.● Review of roles, responsibilities and accountabilities of various stakeholders involved in safety procedure in the organization.● Investigation and analysis of accident (both fatal and non-fatal) and near miss accidents, reporting of the accidents and maintenance of accident records etc.● Effectively conduct a gap analysis and diagnosis of the current position against the scheme.● Provide clear guidelines for verifying the existence and implementation of elements of occupational safety and health system and for verifying the system’s ability to achieve defined safety objectives. ● Field Inspection to identify unsafe condition, practices and acts and suggestion for remedial action thereof.

● Being a point of contact for the project team for execution and all the site related activities.● Coordinating with different project team members from various consultants or contractors for delivering project in timely and quality manner.● Managing / Leading and Supporting execution of projects for various project and executing T&C and MEP design activities.● Ensuring the projects are on track with timely observations and documentations.● Assigning responsibilities to supporting engineers and getting the project executed with their help.● Engaging resources and developing teams to cater projects.● Checking documents prepared by support engineers prior to submission to client or any authority.● Monitoring support engineers work towards service delivery.● Motivating the team to complete the projects in an effective and timely manner.● Keeping a close track on project milestones, billing cycles & outstanding amounts.● Completing the project within time lines and meeting the client requirements.● Keeping a close interaction with project team for new upcoming projects and opportunities for business.● Keeping oneself abreast on upcoming projects of the existing clients.● Developing healthy professional relationships with other project team members such as Architects, PMC’s MEP Designers, Cost Consultants and Contractors.● Generating leads for new upcoming projects from the contacts & links developed during the project execution works.

● Inspection coordination with clients after receipt of inspection calls from material planner. Co-ordination with supplier before raising inspection calls to clients and raise of inspection calls through client’s inspection portal.● Co-ordination with client and supplier for actual inspection. Resolution of issues arises during inspection if any, Inspection of material & conclusion for acceptance or rejection of material. Review of inspection records & maintaining MITS for all this inspection.● Issuing of despatch clearance & billing documentation from client and report submission to respective planners. Visual inspection will be again done after receiving of material at store.● Develop Comprehensive Training Module to create technical project specifications awareness by technical trainings to onsite execution team as per the requirements to enhance the learning. Conduct trainings at sites for Project teams as well as for Sub -Contractor teams to increase awareness & effectiveness.● Identify Non conformities on sample basis inspection will be done for erection of material and to find Non conformity, key in it in Integrated Assessment System for closure and to analyse all the Non conformities ● Develop systematic CAPA & implement the same at sites to drive Field Quality compliances as per specification.● Assessment of prospective vendors or extension of existing vendors to determine if they can effectively meet the obligations and needs of the business mainly regarding erection materials.● Implementation & Coordination for IMS & Business Excellence Initiatives and improvements through Kaizen initiative across PIRE function.

● Perform test inspections & checks and ensure conformity on part of system procedural and policy implementation as a part of 3-tier QAM.● Inspection, testing & witnessing of acceptance tests of important materials of REDB Sub-Station as well as that of VEI at manufacturer premises before dispatch.● Inspection of UE & PE Villages include all Habitations for quality & quantity of material as per MQP / Drawings / TS and works.● Verification of BPL connections, Distribution Transformer Substations, LT Lines, 33kV Lines and 11kV lines attributed to the village (emanating from cut-point/grid substation) as well as the 11 kV line laid within the village; Verification of energisation of village & BPL beneficiaries; Installation of service connections in public places; Hours of supply in the village; Time taken by DISCOM to raise first energy bill in favour of beneficiaries according to FQP.● Oversee the Contract Management Part of PIA like contractual provisions of identifying defects and their communication to working agencies, timely rectification of defects, Time Line Assurance Mechanism of PIA for rectification of defects, resolution of project related issues and action on delayed project.● Give thrust on adherence on systems and procedures of DDUGJY schemes by PIA and Turnkey Contractor at the time of visit.● Ensure availability and awareness of project specific drawings, documents, quality assurance plans among PIA and Turnkey Contractor.

● Design of Electrical Layout, SLD. Load Distribution & Illumination Scheme as per IE rule.● Preparation of DPR & BOQ with reference to field survey, prescribed schedule and rate analysis.● To coordinate with West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. for erection of HT & LT line & pole mounted sub-station.● To check the entire work as according to approved drawings.● Coordination with Contractor for Electrification, Execution, Erection & Commissioning.● Communicate with EIC for any work approval, technical documentation, drawing review etc. ● Efficiently formulated contractor billing with joint measurement certificate, abstract preparation and other relevant document.
