I dedicate most of my practice to helping education clients across the country effectively respond to complex legal issues, such as institutional response to sexual assault, risk management in student affairs, and faculty labor and employment law matters. With over 25 years of experience in education and employment law, I provide as-needed counsel, assist with crafting policies, and conduct independent reviews and investigations for a variety of education entities, from K-12 schools to colleges and universities.I also handle complicated litigation and mediation cases in these areas, leveraging my extensive courtroom experience. In addition, I design and deliver customized, in-house training programs for clients on significant education law and labor and employment law topics, such as Title IX compliance, discrimination and harassment prevention, and employee relations. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise with the next generation of lawyers, and I have been an award-winning professor, teaching courses on higher education law, labor and employment law, and other subjects.
