It’s not what you do, but why you do it.Driven by a passion for social and environmental sustainability (and recognising the important role business plays in achieving global sustainability targets) I have dedicated my career to working at the intersection of business, sustainability and human rights. An outcomes-focused leader, my objective is to help corporates create positive social and environmental impact and mitigate the risk of negative impacts. My academic background in human rights law, environmental management, sustainability, and health & safety is coupled with national and international experience across government, corporate and NFP sectors. Combining subject matter expertise with on-the-ground practical experience puts me in a unique position to guide and facilitate change.With strong people skills I can successfully engage from the tearoom to the boardroom, bridging silos and ensuring fit-for-purpose solutions for material sustainability issues. I am focused on collaborative decision making, delivering practical outcomes, managing risk, and ensuring strong corporate governance systems. For the past 30 years, I have supported businesses and government agencies to embed ESG policies and processes into broader business systems and to engage internal and external stakeholders in the development and implementation of effective ESG strategy.As a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors I have a solid understanding of corporate governance principles, policies and practices. Adventure motorcycling is my newest passion and I love the freedom of carrying my 'office' in my motorcycle pannier.
