About Sandra Taboada-Palau

Thanks for landing on my LinkedIn page. I'm a student journalist now, but hope to have a professional job as a reporter by the time I graduate in May 2025. I want to hit the ground running.I'm taking every class, joining every incredible opportunity that arrives, and getting involved in student media at the University of Houston to prepare for my professional job. I am currently very active in our student-run television station CoogTV. I recently founded the first Spanish news segment for CoogTV called Noticiero Cougar, which has allowed me to learn how to produce a news segment, edit scripts, and edit videos for the public. Thanks to my hard work, dedication, and the support of the team I have created, Noticiero Cougar was awarded "Show of the Year," the same year it was founded. Look over my page.
