As a Resource Development Associate, I managed an annual fundraising portfolio of $1.3M and was responsible for developing and maintaining over 300 key individual and corporate donor relationships throughout the Okanagan region. I led development and implementation of the annual campaign strategy and leveraged donor data to effectively cultivate, solicit and steward new and existing donors, while optimizing the donor experience.

As a Business Performance Strategist for the City's Waste and Recycling Services department, my primary focus was critical evaluation of a series of business cases proposed to capture efficiencies and contribute to organizational cost savings. Other responsibilities included leading and managing the business unit's participation in two municipal benchmarking programs and working cross-functionally to identify and resolve emerging issues impacting the business.

As a Public Program Coordinator for the City's Waste & Recycling Services department, I built and fostered relationships with local businesses and organizations to enhance delivery of waste programs and services. The role primarily focused on educating stakeholders on best practices in waste diversion and supporting interpretation of Calgary's waste bylaw. Other responsibilities included responding to customer service inquiries received via 311 and developing educational materials, tools, and resources for businesses to leverage in support of their waste management programs.

Energy Efficiency Alberta was an agency of the Government of Alberta dedicated to helping the province save energy. As a Program Coordinator, I supported the development, implementation and ongoing management of EEA's portfolio of efficiency financing programs; the Green Loan Guarantee Program and Alberta's first PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) program, the Clean Energy Improvement Program. We aimed to facilitate easy access to affordable financing for homeowners and business owners who decide to invest in energy efficiency upgrades and renewable energy projects.

While completing an MSc in Sustainable Energy Development at the University of Calgary, I supported the SEDV administration as Communications Assistant. Responsibilities included: creation of content for the Sustainable Energy Development program’s quarterly alumni newsletter, monitoring and updating of the SEDV social media platforms and collection and tracking/updating of all applications throughout the SEDV admissions process.I also accepted a second contract as a Research Assistant for one of the Haskayne professors, where I completed quantitative and qualitative research on the Canadian business and finance industry for development of a new 21-chapter textbook to be used by the Haskayne School of Business.

As a Team Manager within the Loss Prevention Resource department, I lead and supported a team of 22 Resource Officers responsible for responding to escalations within TD's fraud department, identifying and mitigating potential fraudulent activity and investigating complex fraud cases (i.e. anti-money laundering, kiting). I was responsible for providing ongoing guidance and coaching to develop team members professionally and personally, and I empowered them to take ownership of each situation and provide creative solutions to balance financial risk with the customer experience.

As a Team Manager within TD's Credit Card Customer Service department, I lead and supported a high performing team of Customer Service Specialists. We consistently surpassed 120% of our metrics through focused coaching, engaging in SMART action planning, and individualized advice and customer service support. I also mitigated risk to the Bank by ensuring employees complied with audit and regulatory requirements, KYC and AML policies and maintain proper key controls.
