Command and Control of Robotic Entities• Key member of the Army’s Command and Control of Robotic Entities (C2ORE) Advanced Technology Objective (ATO) program which provided sets of services aiding decision makers in their placement and routing of robotic entities (UAV, UGV, ARV, SUGV, and UGS). • Supported the system architecture design, system optimization, development, integration, and testing efforts of the High Level Asset Assessment Algorithms, C2ORE Database, Execution Monitor, Unattended Ground Sensors (UGS) Placement Algorithms, and Terrain Services.• Designed and developed a configuration management system and common development environment to allow multiple developers to work independently but collaboratively.

• Lead the development efforts in requirement definition, design, implementation, and test FFW specific capability for OneSAF Objective System (OOS) consisting of entities and units modeling mobility, communications via data or voice, entity perceptions, weapons, power management, and data collection for analysis.• Designed and developed prototype tool for distributed infantry war gaming environment to include a front-end GUI, back-end database, and rule engine for calculating power and energy usage dependent upon infantry tasks and load/logistic information.

• Developed and integrated software for using in HLA compliant simulation environment supporting development of the Army’s next generation of land warfare systems. - Built Simulation Management Console with CORBA, C/C++, and JAVA reducing manpower requirements and improving simulation performance. Tool monitored network load and allowed remote manipulation of processes in response.- Built C++ bridge software to integrate multiple independent systems and platforms into a single distributed simulation environment allowing communication, synchronization and interoperability between formerly independent simulation tools.• Provided support to the Future Combat System’s Concept and Technology Development (CTD phase) CAPSTONE demonstration. Integrated software/hardware products of multiple vendors, partners. Maintained configuration of fifty machine clusters. Dealt with network security, capabilities and scalability issues for large scaled demonstrations.
