Continuing to evangelize the VMware story to my customers, the next step of which is Cloud consumption. This offering makes it easier for my customers to consume VMware technology without the burden of the setup behind it. With VMware Cloud on AWS, we partner the leader of on prem virtualization with the leader in Public Cloud, to give our customers the familiarity they need for business continuity and expansion. My role includes:- Training our core Commercial team the value of, not only going to Cloud, but the value of this service and how it's different than most cloud vendors today.- Whiteboarding the "VMware Story" to new hires, and those within our University Program.- Consultative selling to many customers on a day to day basis and technically validating their questions and concerns with Cloud. - Cross Selling & Up Selling Cloud Professional Services to ensure customers a successful deployment.

Helping provide my customers a road map of the VMware Story and where they fit within it. Educating my customers on how Hyper Converged is the first initial stepping stone when looking for an eventual path to the Cloud. VMware has the huge advantage in this area, considering the platform we help them standardize on, is already familiar to them being vCenter.Helping train and enable our core ISR team, as well as our partner community to successfully position VSAN in the competitive storage market. Other tasks include:- Meeting with partners in the TOLA area to train their staff, and discuss demand generation opportunities. - Virtual demos, and/or presentations, for end users via WebEx- Creating target calling efforts for the sales floor, aimed at VSAN/VxRail- Pulling reports specific to ISR activity in the area.- Joining conference calls to further qualify opportunities.

I bring technical expertise, integrity, and dedication to my role as a Storage Sales Specialist. Other activities including, but not limited to: - Working along side value added resellers and distributors through an "indirect" method.- Internal collaboration with team members to strategically prospect and aim at the correct selling areas. - Trained up on current virtualization trends. -Resolving operational issues that may arise from the pre-sales process- Helping train up newer employees on our products/ processes. - Possess an understanding of data collection, metrics and analytics in support of productivity enhancements and efficiency gains - Being a technical resource for anyone internal for Storage related questions.- Successfully positioning software defined storage, as well as hardware defined.- Creating marketable video material for HP Internal, to be sent up to Meg Whitman herself. - Attaining quota in a very competitive market.
