ElmFood was developed to bridge the gap between what you eat and how you feel. Based on the basic premise that everyone is unique and diets that work for some people won't work for others. We have our own unique DNA and gut flora which is affected by the medication we take, what we eat, and the environment we grew up in.The first stage MVP took food entries logged by other popular food tracking apps and ran simple analysis on the output data sets to help identify safe and trouble foods.After initial testing I developed a mobile web application and reporting engine. Working hand in hand with beta testers I worked for several months tuning the UX and the reporting. The reporting engine created a new report daily with potential problem foods and safe foods based on statistical analysis.
