Samantha has worked on the following transmission projects: The Oroville Dam Emergency (Oroville, CA) and West of Devers Upgrade Project (San Bernardino, CA). Duties include: managing a high volume of hire/termination periods throughout the duration of the project, maintain confidentiality for each employee's record, scheduling pre-employment drug tests and trainings (dependent upon each project), follow and apply union payroll agreements, and support the Superintendent or General Foremen in the field. Secondary roles include assisting the primary subcontractor (Barnard Construction) with billing, DBE spending report, safety certification monitoring, equipment maintenance cost tracking, and event/meeting planning.

As a part of a small business, Samantha assisted owner with with daily operations including: custom cabinet construction, design layout, scheduling, and billing. She also coordinates job plans and updates with homeowners.

Folsom, California

As the Center Manager at the Beta Site, Samantha primarily serves to coordinate and support events, client relations, and marketing outreach. Originally serving as the Test Prep Coordinator, she works with students to maximize their standardized test scores. Each week Samantha: proctors practice ACT/SAT exams and inputs students' results, bi-weekly tracks students progress in their test prep program, and organizes and manages the workshops or marketing related to the test prep program. From her management role she coordinates sales meetings, worked with the Director to develop and implement the Summer Test Prep Study Programs, craft supplemental information for the Track It! Program, event logistics including pre-event and post-event, present at multiple high schools for educational lecture series, and oversee daily activities at the center.As a growing company, The College Planning Center continues to increase the number of students and locations.

Our overall goal is to create a seamless brand over all mediums for the Golden State Warriors. As a marketing event staff member, we assist with the promotion of events at Oracle Arena or throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area to promote the Warriors and work within the community. We support multiple departments including ticket sales & community relations to enhance fan’s experience and are trained to effectively coordinate and transition between game-time events.

Marin, California

The overall goal at Marin Juniors is to develop and coach young girls into mature volleyball players, on and off the court. Samantha is flexible with coaching different age groups as the club director, Craig Wong, moved her to whatever team needed her coaching skill set. She has coached teams for the ages of 15-17 and has coached clinics with ages ranging from 11-18. Besides focusing on fundamental skills or advanced techniques, Samantha aspires to help her girls realize sports provide life lessons that are applicable on and off the volleyball court.

Since her freshman year, Samantha has had the opportunity to work closely with Dr. Diara Spain, the Honors Program Director. They were able to work cohesively to create more events for honors students which include: game nights, sandwich socials, orientation, senior award ceremony, e-portfolio workshops, and lectures. Samantha was also in charge of creating agendas for board meetings, recording meeting minutes, recruiting new students and advertising for the program.

San Rafael, Ca

Samantha was promoted to director of the flag football camp. She was in charge of creating an outline of activities for each day, following the camp schedule, providing certificates and awards for campers. As the only returning coach, she trained the new coaches for flag football and was able to work with different coaching styles as the coaching staff varied week to week. During the weeks that flag football was not offered, she was asked to coach tennis because of her reviews from campers and parents.

One of the few returning coaches to the Dominican Sports Camp, Samantha specialized in coaching flag football and volleyball. The camps provided a way for the community to see the student-athletes at Dominican University and be positive role models for their children. As a coach the goal was to provide kids with fundamental skills of the game while showing the passion behind the sports. Each week the camp would be focusing on how to have fun while learning a sport, it was not geared towards a highly competitive environment but allowing kids to still be kids. The ages ranged from seven to twelve years old.

Samantha helped Lisa's Organics with their Garden to Hospital Program, where hospitals grow their own vegetables and fruit to use in the cafeterias. Their mission is: to integrate wellness through nutrition into the daily lives of patients, their families and local communities.As an intern, Samantha created a plan for student involvement to be implemented nationwide. She also created educational brochures and games for Eat Your Colors program. The brochure was to provide information to parents on why to incorporate different colored fruits and vegetables into their diet. The games were used at launching events for Lisa's Organics in different stores nationwide.
