Performance driven leader and Senior Systems Engineer with over 20 years of experience in system design, installation, integration, management, and troubleshooting at multi-site enterprises. Expertise of server design, security, implementation, and maintenance in Windows, Linux, Cloud, and VMware.I am currently working as the Director of IT for BRAVE Church. In this role I am responsible for the infrastructure and technology at 3 campuses and our K through 5th grade Classical Christian Academy.Previously, I worked as a Systems Administrator for CORE Electric Cooperative. In this role I helped support Windows and Linux servers running in VMware on NetApp storage. Helped manage Office 365 and the Coop’s other application servers. Previous to that position I was the Lead Systems Architect for Colorado Judicial Branch. In this role I was the supervisor and technical lead for the team responsible for Windows/ESXi/Linux servers and storage administration. I helped design, provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain over 400 servers including our SAN hardware and related infrastructure at around 25 locations and 2 data centers supporting about 4,000 users. My day-to-day activities included provisioning new storage and fibre zoning on NetApp AFF/FAS & E-Series filers. Design, install, and configure new server and storage hardware utilizing Cisco UCS and NetApp hardware. Maintain user and computer accounts utilizing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange Online. Backup and secure user and system data utilizing Veeam Backup and Replication. Along with our on-prem infrastructure I also helped support AWS and Azure cloud environments. This would include supporting user access, virtual machines, Azure SQL, RDS and Azure Virtual Desktop utilizing Nerdio Manager.
