-Assess customer requirements; analyze the architecture of the business and data that supports the architecture; evaluate possible solutions; and present recommendations to Technology and Data Services management team. Research emerging technologies to provide counsel to the applicability, viability, and feasibility of new technology to business problems. Work closely with the business and IT in assessing and recommending software solutions for the business.-Provide analysis and technical expertise to the BEPC/DGC business units in the analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of the business application suite or multiple major business application modules. -Formulate and define project scope and objectives; devise and modify procedures to solve business problems; and prepare Project Charters. Provide direction to project leads and integrate activities with others by key departments to ensure successful implementation and support for the project efforts.-Foster and maintain good relationships with customers and Information and Data Services (IT) colleagues to meet expected customer service levels. Provide daily support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution, including after hours on-call support for assigned business application systems.-Monitor and report to management the status of project efforts. Anticipate and identify issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implement corrective actions.-Lead small to large projects and coach other project personnel to ensure business application systems are developed and implemented to comply with architectural standards, established methodologies, and practices. Collect and analyze business requirements for large, multifunctional projects.
