I am current a sophomore at the University of California, Berkeley studying Aerospace Engineering, proud to be part of the second inaugural class of 2027! I have a deep interest for astronomy and space exploration, though I have a passion for learning many things in general!I worked with the New Hampshire Academy of Science to perform biochemical and engineering research. My work included analyzing the binding sites of the Spike protein on different variants of COVID-19 with the ACE2 receptor to notice any differences in their thermodynamic properties. After writing a summary paper, I had an opportunity to present this work with the American Junior Academy of Sciences in 2022. I also designed and iterated a system for creating low cost spectrometers using off the shelf color sensors, trying to help make spectroscopy more accessible.I am always willing to share my passion of astronomy and aerospace as well as my aspiration to become an astronaut! I have a deep passion for learning and growing, and I always remain open to new information and opportunities!

  As staff facilitators at the Lawrence Hall of Science, we help visitors at the museum take their learning beyond the exhibits! Aside from interesting them with scientific content, we aim to instill in them an understanding of the scientific method and iterative design process by asking questions to prompt their own learning and creativity.
