Directs, administers, and coordinates the internal operational activities of the organization in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives established by the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors. Leads and directs the following functions and/or business units: operations, finance, human resources, information systems, new business coordination/ development, and agency promotion and communication. Assists the CEO in the development of organization policies and goals that cover operations, personnel, financial performance, and growth of the functions and/or business units mentioned above. Develops and maintains a sound plan of organization. Establishes policies to insure adequate management development and to provide for capable management succession for those functions/business units falling under his/her responsibility. Directs the development and establishment of adequate and equitable personnel policies throughout the organization, including compensation policies and employee benefit plans. Insures that the interests and welfare of employees as individuals are preserved and protected.

Report directly to the President and CEO. Provide guidance to senior management on legal issues. Responsible for negotiating, writing, reviewing, summarizing, researching and executing a wide variety of agreements for companies and clients, including marketing agreements, license agreements, real estate leases, confidentiality agreements and other general business contracts. Prepare closing documents, order and examine titles, perform closings, fund and post – close files. Examine documentation such as mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, plat books, maps, contracts, and agreements in order to verify factors such as properties’ legal descriptions, ownership, or restrictions. Prepare reports summarizing title encumbrances encountered during search activities, and outlining actions needed to clear titles. Participate in the definition and development of company policies, procedures and programs and provide continuing counsel and guidance on legal matters and on legal implications of all matters. Coordinate with outside counsel to ensure timely and proper handling of all outsourced legal tasks. Supervise staff of six on matters ranging from operations and processing to marketing.
