As a licensed carpenter for over 35 years, I've experienced the many aspects of construction from labourer, forming carpenter, framer, foreman, superintendent, estimator, project manager and general contractor. Today, by operating a portable / mobile prefab station onsite (or nearby), Seagate Consulting can better control costs, decrease build-time, keep a tidier and safer site, reduce waste and improve the quality of construction for our client.Wood prefabrication construction has also proven to improve scheduling on construction job sites and keep material usage under tight control. We have also found prefabrication construction has minimized accidents onsite as everyone has a specific task to complete and is well supervised.We have a dedicated crew of skilled carpenters who we regularly invest in with further training, and, as a result, Seagate has little turnover. This makes for a better work environment for our Seagate Team and improves the quality of our workmanship for our client.
