Duties and responsibilities included but are not limited to:● Prosecuting, investigating and giving instruction in complex and high-profile matters in the Regional Court● Prosecuting both common law and statutory offences for example; fraud, theft, corruption, sexual offences, robbery and aggravating circumstances● Conducting bail applications● Managing court and case flow● Drafting of charges, further particulars, applications and all matters related to criminal litigation● Administrative duties by preparing case dockets, interviewing witnesses, report writing, research aspects of law, and train and mentor junior prosecutors● Guiding and mentoring SAPS investigators in gathering evidence and compiling case dockets for criminal investigations
