Seamus Haji is best known for his hit remake of “Last Night A DJ Saved My Life” and Booty Luv’s “Boogie 2Nite” which were both Worldwide club hits!As a DJ, he’s held residencies for MOS in London & Pacha Ibiza and toured all over the Word for the likes of Defected, Hed Kandi & MOS. As a previous ambassador for Pioneer CDJs, he takes DJ skills very seriously. He’s notched up 2 Essential Mixes for Radio 1 and played 2 Radio 1 Big Weekenders, spun at many of the major festivals in the UK such as Global Gathering, Creamfields, Global Gathering & Pride & massive International events Mardi Gras (Sydney), Loveland (Amsterdam) in front of 20,000.Seamus Haji’s experience is all part of the mix. He has been involved in nearly all aspects of the Music Business from working in London’s most influential black music and dance music record shops for 10 years to A&Ring for Slip’n’Slide Records, Defected Records and then Strictly Rhythm to interviewing and reviewing for seminal Dance Music publications such as Muzik Magazine, DMC Update, DJ Mag, Touch and Echoes and of course, de rigueur stints on pirate radio. Since 2002 he has also been at the helm of his own much-respected house music label, Big Love (also including sister imprints Big Love Digital and Soul Love) for which he has either A&R’d, produced, remixed (or all three) nearly one hundred singles and mixed five compilations.The remixes still come thick & fast and throughout this year (2014) his midas touch has been added to likes of Labrinth, Jakwob, Joel Compass, Ella Henderson, Ed Sheeran with heavy rotation on Radio 1, Capital & Gaydar radio showing why he’s one of the most in-demand UK remixers.His syndicated Big Love radio show has been running for over 3 years now on Juice Brighton and is also broadcast on over 40 other Radio stations around the World (and growing!)With a relentless schedule across all strands of his career, he is living contradiction of those who insist that men can’t multi-task!
