Process Improvement Engineer responsible for the Components department of the two Rinnai factories here in Melbourne. The components department includes all processing of metal parts for the production lines including turret punching and laser cutting, press brake and robot folding, tube cutting and bending as well as powder coating.Process Improvement Engineering Responsibilities:• Responsible for root cause analysis of machinery faults • Leads OEE improvement and equipment turnback reduction projects• Coordinates Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) projects• Coordinates plant repairs and upgrades with external contractors• Responsible for root cause analysis & implementation of corrective actions for internal Corrective Actions Reports (CAR)• Responsible for Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects for plant and equipment, from initial concept, through to doing the financial analysis and preparing the business case to getting final approval from head office.• Responsible for setting the budget and timeframe for CAPEX projects and managing the project to ensure it is completed within budget and on time• Organised installation, training & production commissioning of multiple folding robots and NC punches• Worked with a cross functional team to use E1 Oracle to upgrade the production system and other systems and process within the Components department• Use MEX Maintenance manager to monitor OEE, record breakdown tasks and lodge requests

Quality engineer responsible for using Lean principals and six sigma tools to ensure the parts, systems and process meet the ISO 9001 standards required by Brivis. Responsible for supplier quality including organising incoming inspection schedules, raising non-conformance reports and reviewing corrective actions reports. Also assisted the production lines with documentation, root cause analysis and auditing.Quality Engineering Responsibilities:• Create and modify quality system documents including production work instructions• Use Value Stream Mapping and lean principals to evaluate and modify processes to improve efficiency and reduce all forms of waste• Identify and implement manufacturing process controls to reduce process variation.• Raising Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)• Reviewing Suppliers 8D Corrective Actions Reports (CAR)• Responsible for Process Audits
